Carbon shoe sighs

I read and enjoyed your review of the new 155 - 178g/km diesel engines that Volvo plans to release for the S80. Do you know if these will be available for the XC70 any time soon? My company has recently introduced lower CO2 emission limits for all cars that are driven on company business. This affects people with company-cars and those who have opted-out (like me). The new rules mean that I cannot swap my current XC70 for a new one when I come to change later this year or early 2010. The new limit is 180g/CO2.

The new 2.4D and D5 205 engines in the S80 should also be in the V70 and XC70 at some time in the summer. I think Volvo needs to sell off stocks with the old engine before it will release cars with the new engine.
