Ramp consumerism

My wife and I are in our 80s. She is partially disabled and uses an electric scooter for mobility. Our automatic Honda Jazz has served us very well for five years, but lifting the scooter in and out of the boot is becoming difficult, and I realise it would be sensible to invest in a small adapted car. Can you recommend a suitable vehicle that gives a level of comfort and fuel economy comparable to the Jazz at a reasonable price? A local dealer appears to offer Renault Kangoo, Citroen Berlingo and Fiat Doblo - and perhaps others. I would appreciate you advice please.
