Sea-Max
I’ve just written off my 2004/54 Ford C-Max with floodwater. I’m waiting for an insurance offer. I found the C-Max good because of excellent mpg, but would have liked a bigger boot area for business goods. What would you suggest, not more than £10,000.

A Xsara Picasso or a Berlingo has a bigger boot. A new model Berlingo or Peugeot Partner diesel is probably better now. Drives better than many cars and much stronger and safer than the old one. Less than £9,000 via www.drivethedeal.com
