Are there any estates with a low boot lip? I need somethig for an ageing dog to easily jump into.

I have a dog that is struggling to jump into my Skoda Fabia Estate boot due to the high lip. Are there any estates with flat or near-flat boot access? Up to £10,000 secondhand and I do less than 5000 miles a year so don't mind the age. Thank you.

The best car for this sort of task is a van-based MPV. It will give you a practical car with a very low boot floor that will be easy for a dog to jump in/out of. Given your budget, I'd recommend a petrol Ford Tourneo Connect: vans.honestjohn.co.uk/van-reviews/ford/tourneo-con...4

We have two giant dogs. I need an older car or van to transport them around with a high driving position. Not a 4x4 as tax is much too high. Can you help with some advice, please?
