Tax disc cuss
I bought a Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Comfort with Air Con, reg VX02 CUC at auction. Could you please tell me why the road tax is £145? I have looked at about 20 other Corsas and the tax is between £115 and £120.

On a quick search at www.smmtco2.co.uk/co2search2.asp I got
149g/km, which should be £120. But if for some reason the car is over 150g/km CO2 (maybe tyre size), then the rate is £145. Check what CO2 is printed in the V5 registration document.
