Pumper car

My wife wants to buy me a 12v tyre pump. Can you recommend one please?

I can't, but another reader, J.F., can:- “For big inflations I have finally (after many years searching) found a really good electric pump. It is made by Ring, and I have only found it at Car Builder Solutions, (www.cbsonline.co.uk or 01580 891309) who gave me great service. It is all-metal, it costs £44, and I had the chance to test it seriously last Sunday. I dropped the tyres of my van to 15psi to get out of a muddy field after a meeting (I was the only one of 30 able to get out unaided) and once out on the road the Ring blew them up to 55psi in less than 4 minutes each, outstanding. It is expensive but gives the impression it will last a lifetime, unlike all of its competitors.”
