Can I drive a SORN'd car to an MoT?

Can you drive a SORN vehicle on the road to an MoT test appointment?

You can drive a vehicle on SORN to a pre-booked MoT, as long as it had valid insurance. When the vehicle has passed the MoT, you can tax it online or over the phone before driving it home.
