What should I check when buying a second-hand Honda Jazz?
I'm thinking of buying a second-hand automatic Honda Jazz. What do I need to be aware of?

Be careful - the Honda Jazz was briefly sold (between 2008 and early 2011) with the i-Shift automated manual gearbox which wasn't as good as the CVT auto which replaced it. I'd recommend looking at an older or newer model with the CVT transmission. Other than that, the Honda Jazz is generally a very reliable second-hand car. I would be grateful if you could suggest a number of petrol automatic cars for a young driver. He has a budget of up to £5500.
How would you rate a 2009 Honda Jazz automatic with 30,000 miles on the clock. It's being sold for £3750.
