Carp on footprint
I am nearing the replacement of the original runflat tyres of my BMW 520d. I find the ride quite firm and wonder if changing to normal tyres would help this. Do you have any recommendations? For some time one of the current tyres has to be re-sealed to keep up pressure every 4 months and this also draws me to a change to normal tyres. Any suggestion of best make or type?

Change to the new Bridgestone Runflat 3s or the latest Dunlop ruflats. These use different runflat technology so can have softer sidewalls and ride as well as conventional tyres, while retaining the capability of running flat. They don't corner as well with no air in them, but that's a price worth paying for the decent ride.
