Oil smell inside car

I have a Ford Focus T-reg and I am getting a distinctive oil smell coming through the vents of the heater after idling for about five mins. I've noticed a leak, maybe from the rocker cover gasket on the nearside side of engine bay or maybe it could be the water pump.

Probably caused by a blocked EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valve.
