Diesel emissions
I am a mobility customer and I have ordered a Renault Grand Scenic dCi. It was supposed to be ready by the end of January, but now I am being told it will not be ready till at least another 4 weeks because of the goverment restrictions on emissions and they have to increase the category from 4 to 5. I have searched everywhere for info on this and can't find anything.

It has had to go from EU4 to EU5 emissions category as have all cars registered from 1st January 2011 throughout the EU. This means it will have to be fitted with a diesel particulate filter that will make it unsuitable for repeated short runs from cold. (It will clog up.)
