How can we stop people parking in the allocated spaces at our flats?
I live a flat system has four parking spaces and we have four cars. Sometimes other road users park there to go to the nearby shop. Our parking is not managed by any third party company nor is it controlled by anyone. Is there a legal way of tackling this? It's quite annoying when I come back home after work to find my parking space occupied by someone else.

The firm that owns the building should also be managing the parking spaces for residents, or they should hire another company to do so. I would get in touch with them and tell them the issue and see what they will do about it. If you have set parking spaces, you could always put down a parking post to physically block other cars. Here's a link to one that's fairly easy to install: amzn.to/2JAkaO4
