I'm a named driver on my son's car and had a collision - will it affect his renewal if I have protected no claims?
I had a bump in my car which was my fault as I reversed into a parked car but fortunately, I have protected NCD. However, my son's cars insurance is shortly due for renewal. I know that my insurance shouldn't be affected much but what is the likely effect on my son's insurance? I assume I have to declare a claim to them.

If you are a named driver on his policy, he will have to advise that you have made a claim. Alternatively, if HIS car is of a low value, It may be better to take yourself of his policy and see if you have the extension of use to drive other vehicles on your policy third party. This way, it does not affect his policy while still allowing you to drive his car.
