Renault Scenic Dynamique dci 110 EDC Auto FAP

A few months ago I asked you about the new auto gear box of above, and you said they were similar to the VW. Well I decided to buy the above. Car now done 2 trips (Total 705 miles). First trip 430 miles (200 motorway 230 urban) Trip meter stated 51.4 mpg. I then reset and did 270 miles with 40 miles urban the rest motorway, with everything on lights radio satnav and A/c tripmeter stated 57.1 mpg. So am very pleased as I expect this to get better after 3000 miles. The second trip was in very bad weather conditions and the auto box was an absolute delight, what a car. Thanks for your help

That's very new technology. I drove it in Paris in the Summer, but did not think it had reached the UK yet.

Help please, so many tyres and prices to choose from. Should I be looking at fuel efficiency for example?
A local company says it can adjust the fuel use of my Citroen C5 6 spd, 2.0 HDi, upping it 10% without risking any parts. I'm a slowish driver, mostly 2,000 rpm and have the car in eco, whatever that does....
