Yup. For field sports use, probably, or smart picnic. Very smart, I like them, bound to be made from bone - you wouldn't make a leather case for plastic cups, now, would you? Put them on eBay, might get £40 or £50 for them - or more. I'll fight PU for them...
They stack so as to fit neatly together in the leather case, as small as possible.

Conceivably worth more than £50 - do you have contacts in a local auction room?

Thanks for the quick response - we have an ebay shop so I will list it on there but any ideas of category to put it in?
Once listed I will send you a link to start the bidding! Also found another part to it - looks like a coaster / lid!
The knowledge on this forum never ceases to amaze me!

Look like horn, probably Scottish, for a warming wee dram when out on the hills, shootin' or stalking. Different sizes so they pack into the case nicely. Case looks quite modern though, unless the picture is misleading.

Case looks quite modern .......
If the cups have clear plastic bases, then the cups are quite modern. (When I say "quite modern" I mean made within my lifetime.)

........ bound to be made from bone - ........
How would you fuse/stick a clear plastic base to a horn cylinder?
