NO YEAR OR ENGINE IN SUBJECT LINE = DELETION. - adverse camber
would it be a big deal to have posts like this shoved into a hidden moderators queue?

Or even not accept postings where the boxes are not filled in? with a suitable error message (maybe the not applicable option at the end of the list)

It seems that new posters ignore this.

It's not only the new posters.

Regarding MFarrow's suggestion of drop down boxes or separate lists, it has been mentioned to Stephen Khoo, but his workload is concentrated elsewhere at the moment. His short term solution was to place a message under the subject header when starting a new question. The one that says (and also gets ignored):- "INCLUDE year of manufacture, car engine size and nature of problem; EXCLUDE make/model as this is automatically added at start of subject"

I will go and ask him again to see if a better solution can be reached that reduces our workload in keep on having to edit the subject headers of those people who can't read the 3 separate requests to include year and engine details in the subject header when they post a question here in Technical Matters.

Some people still not complying to this request. Time permitting, we *may* edit the info in for you (providing of course you mention it in the main body of the post), otherwise we'll just DELETE it.
