Would anyone seriously feel safe in one?

No, but then I don't on a bike either, pedal or petrol.

But you would be at least twice as high visually than in this 49cc contraption...:-)

missed Sunday's show and the repeat last night.
a) was it worth watching
b) is there a 2nd repeat or do I have to wait a year until it appears on Dave or some other satellite channel

That is purely down to personal taste. Best to record and then FF through the dull bits.

Actually the satellite channel 'Dave' on Sunday at around 7pm is only approx a couple of weeks behind the current BBC2 series. This Sunday for example is showing the channel crossing in their amphibious vehicles, and Jools Holland (yawn!) is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

thanks DD, will keep an eye on "Dave" (stupid name for a TV channel)

"Jools Holland (yawn!)"
I'd still trade the ability to drive for his ability to play the piano...

you can download the recent top gear episodes through bittorrent. Theyre all on the UKNOVA website. As far as I know, it is legal to do it.
