I am hearing a constant clicking noise when the car is stationary.
I have worked the suspension up and down a few times but it still remains, but only in the middle setting(every 2 seconds or so)The LHM reservoir is full. The ride quality is superb and appears to be unaffected by the clicking.
I have a manual and have read most of it. I suspect it is the sphere on the front of the engine the needs replacing. Anybody know a bit more about it?
Also, the heater blows luke warm. I have flushed the system and used some of that flushing liquid from BMS but it is still the same.
Is it new matrix time?
Thanks in advance

"constant clicking noise "
Almost certainly the accumulator sphere.
The link below may be of use to you, I know it's for a BX but the principle is the same.
However, some later Xantias have Hydractive suspension which is more complicated. Which year/model is yours?

There is also another thread on Xantia suspension which may be of help to you - especially the later posts

Deffo sounds like it needs a new accumulator. Not sure why it should tick at medium only, but maybe it's just hissing all the time at normal. Accumulator is same on Xantia as BX, but heed the advice I gave in the other thread about leaving the engine running for a minute or so after depressuring to ensure all pressure is released (actually that probably doesn't apply to the accum, but better safe than sorry). Easiet to remove from underneath- you may well need to remove the engine undertray (which can be a pain - get your angle grinder on it!). If the sphere is tight / rusted on, you can remove it with a cold chisel applied CAREFULLY tangentially to the the seam.
Re the heater, have you tried the other things listed in the other thread?

Is it illogical? It must be Citroen....

This kind of thing is good for spheres if you can't afford a Pleiades one.
