Recommended internet salvage company? - BobbyG
I am looking to get a parcel shelf for my dad's 806, Y Reg. I want the one that covers the boot area when the two rear seats are removed.

I have tried ebay, and also the HJ recommended site, which directed me to findapart.co.uk.

Anyone recommend any other companies that I could try?

I only ask because it would not be the first time that a used part had actually fetched more than its new equivilent.

Also, find out who the independents use - I found a couple of good steers locally from the independent Citroen specialist.

Also, specialists pug brakers in the yellow pages.

I'm not sure if they have a website, but they break their own cars, have a large range of used spares in stock and are true independant Citroen specialists. I used them a few times when I lived in Holmfirth and had the ZX.
See if they have what you want and will post.

This is very true. When I was looking for a foglight recently I was regularly quoted a few pounds short of the new price. When postage was added on it was more. Just keep looking, I eventuallly found one just down the road.

Check e-bay for people selling other items from an 807. I contacted a chap selling Vectra wheels and found he was breaking the whole car.

Try putting ` Kofferraumabdeckung 806 ´ into ebay.de as there are several up at the mo´. Ask nicely and I am sure you could get it sent to the UK.

Just tried that - to ask a question it wants me to sign in. When I do that, it then asks me more questions in German inc phone numbers and PIN so I think i will just leave it!
