Typing the error message in to Google exactly as you typed it gives many hits.

Appears that the problem is likely related to potential file version instability with the advice given being to return to a previous known restore point.

Thanks, both. I shall wear my pointy hat with a 'D' on it on account of inability to use Google effectively. That was quite a clear explanation. I have reinstalled the patch that I had already installed and I shall see if it makes a difference.
Should I worry?
