annoying knocking on scenic 2 - rustbucket
No help needed just to inform any one with similar problems this could be the answer.For some time I have had an annoying and worrying knock from the front offside suspension on my scenic 2.This occured fairly randomly but usualy when changing direction from forward to reverse or reverse to forward.I finaly found the problem after checking every nut / bolt / ball joint on the front suspension.It was both bolts fixing the sub frame ( frame that supports the lower wish bone to the vehicle under the drivers feet area)were not tight.This has also curred a minor pull to the right, which has been on the vehicle since new, but unfixable by the renault garage.I might add this pull to the right was not a major problem just a mystery.So it would seem that these fixings were not tight from when the vehicle was manufactured.
