My sister accidentally filled her diesel Landrover Discovery with unleaded. What should she do?

1. Don't drive it.
2. Get it drained.
3. Hope and prey the injector pump hasn't got damaged.

How much petrol onto how much diesel. It sound like she put a lot of petrol in. More then 10% petrol and it has to come out.

I remember reading the manual for my dads old 200TDI disco and it said you could use something like 60% petrol in there in extreme circumstances.
Prob different on a more modern diesel tho.

The diesel fuel contains vital lubricant that the high pressure injection pump needs. I would get in touch with your Landrover dealer for advice. Modern fuel pumps for diesels are very expensive.
Even with current fuel prices, I would get the tank syphoned and start again. You may get away with it.
