I see a lot of usernames with the {P} suffix. Are these moderators?

No. It indicates that they have filled in their profile. Right click on the user name and you will see a pop-up description of the user. The {P} is a user created convention.

If you wish to let Back Roomers know that your profile can be read, then go to the "My settings" and change your username to "carayzee {P}".
I should point out, though, that there was a message from the exalted HJ himself a while back asking us not to change our usernames too much as it makes more work for him.

I hope you can also recall the reply I posted to that further explaining. Essentially, change your username if you wish. However, if 200 people suddenly change theirs at the same time it gives me a headache.
